When we did the Lego project last year I found the mood boards not unimportant but not a whole big help to be honest. It made me look outside the box but not in a way I had hoped from a design perspective. When designing Liberty though I felt the urge to do one and I'm glad I did not that it help me with my design but did inspire me so much so i stuck it to my wall and look at it every time I'm sketching.
